Description : UNO Geography/Geology students in Professor Deere's course partner with AP Environmental Science students from Burke High School to assess soil health in the community. The students gather soil together for testings, and throughout the project, they meet at UNO and Burke High to test the soil and interpret the results together. At the end of the semester, the students present the results of their research at the UNO-OPS Joint Research Symposium.

Description : Voices Amplified is a multidisciplinary initiative bringing together arts and social justice to connect the Omaha community with opportunities for discussion and reflection. In this project the UNO school of Art and Art History partnered with Omaha Performing Arts to feature the exhibits of UNO students and faculty of color.
