Description : Christie Beard was invited to serve as a judge for the 2020 EPSMF "Original Music/New Ideas" (OM/NI) competition, which featured flute as the medium for the compositions. There were approximately composition 100 entries in 2 divisions (composers under 18, and those over 18).

Description : Christie Beard was invited to return as a performer in the annual fundraising concert, "Play it Forward". The concert is used as a fundraising event to support a local school music initiative, or other local non-for-profit activity. The 2020 NFA convention was virtual.

Description : For this project Christine Beard joined forces with soprano Amanda DeBoer, pianist Stacey Barleos, and cellist Tim Strang on the Generator series concert entitled "Whaling" featuring contemporary works by George Crumb and Tim Lachenmann.

Description : For this project Christie Beard and Stacie Haneline were invited to participate in this virtual concert, for which several musicians from the Nebraska region were invited to perform. The concert was curated by CCC Music Director, Dr. Alex Ritter, and the program notes were delivered by Dr. Joanna Goldstein (Indiana University SE).

Description : For this project, the Beard-Haneline duo was invited to be a headliner artist at the 2020 Puerto Rico International Flute Symposium which was rescheduled to take place virtually amidst the pandemic. The Beard-Haneline Duo performed the closing concert of the festival, broadcast live via YouTube. The program was entitled "Made in America: A Musical Melting Pot" featuring music for flute/piccolo by diverse American composers.

Description : For this project Christie Beard conducted a workshop on copy-write and self-marketing strategies for the modern musician and performed a recital. The first set of concerts and lectures were hosted by the Latvian Academy of music, while the second was for the Leuven Conservatory of Music in Belgium.
