Description : Omaha Under the Radar is a nonprofit dedicated to the production and presentation of contemporary music, dance, and theatre. Through the Generator Series –a concert series created in partnership with KANEKO –Omaha Under the Radar explores concepts that impact us individually and on a collective level, including sound in the natural world, sound and physics, sound and memory, sound and movement, and more. Spring 2019 was the launch of the most ambitious Generator Series event to date: RESILIENCE, a multi-event series of concerts, talks, masterclasses, and open rehearsals exploring themes of creativity in confinement, violence against women, contemporary ideas of femininity, and the impact of incarceration and violence on families. The artists featured on RESILIENCE have direct experience with these themes, and have created generous and engaging works that illustrate the struggle, self-determination, and transformation of their stories.
