Description : The project aims to bring collaboration and language exchange between Uno students and community partners in Omaha. Uno students from SPAN 2120 course, partnered with Omaha South High School who are willing to learn English language to communicate and it fostered learning experience for both parties with benefiting each other. Description : The goal of the project was to have a musical concert where UNO students get to play different repertoire that is classified for nighttime. Along with that, they get to service and inspire high school music students by playing the piano at South High school and Central High School. Description : UNO Students explore human and animal behavior at the Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium. In this project which starts in October, students visit the Zoo to learn about how animals and human interact in the zoo. The students spend time researching and learn about enrichment.
