Description :
Payment timing is conceptualized as the key dimension that differentiates payment types such as consumers pay now with debit cards and pay later with credit cards. This paper proposes a quantitative assessment of the payment timing differences on consumer choices through creating five different payment types (pay in advance, pay now, pay in 30 days, pay in 60 days, and pay in 90 days).
