Description : Students will work in teams to complete an ethics audit of a non-profit organization. In these ethics audits, teams will research the ethics of the organization, provide a risk assessment for key ethics areas, and make recommendations where applicable. Teams will be expected to conduct research in the organization; reviewing existing documents as well as interviewing and surveying staff. Teams will provide each organization with a written report and summary presentation.

Description : The intern created a resource guide that continues to be used, adding information about resources that help people who are leaving prision and re-entering society. The intern also attended in-prison volunteer events, which helped provide the intern with a different point of view of the criminal justice system and increased her confidence in working with different populations of people.

Description : The intern assisted with the development of a variety of initiatives. At the Chamber of Commerce, the intern supported and promoted the Greater Omaha Young Professionals organization. The intern developed digital content for the YP Newsletter and managed the YP social media channels in an effort to increase engagement. Lastly, the intern worked on the Chamber’s diversity and inclusion initiatives.
