Description : UNO’s Support and Training for the Evaluation of Programs (STEPs) will partner with GOALS to analyze the end-of-theyear survey data from the public school partners, analyze yearly quantitative data, and provide consultation on two evaluation projects. STEPs uses a participatory, utilization-focused approach to all its work. “Participatory” means that program staff are engaged in all evaluation activities, including their planning and implementation. “Utilization-focused” means that evaluation activities are conducted with an eye toward usefulness for the program.

Description : Using it's participatory, utilization-focused approach, STEPs will measure CSFs outcome variables through an online survey. The methodology, including survey items, will be based on the parent survey administered in 2015, and necessary changes will be made in discussion with CSF. STEPs will present a report to CSF upon completion of the project.

Description : For this project Katrina Cox serves on the board for Plains States Kodály Organization. Inspired by the vision of Zoltán Kodály, the mission of the Organization of American Kodály Educators is to support music education of the highest quality, promote universal music literacy and lifelong music making, and preserve the musical heritage of the people of the United States of America through education, artistic performance, advocacy and research.

Description : Don Bowen’s Electronic Writing class and Justin Noel’s students from McMillan Middle School worked with Coalition for a Strong Nebraska in the fall of 2017. CFASN requested podcast and YouTube videos be made around the policies that affect the top ten initiatives of CFASN. Groups of students chose one policy topic/theme to prepare as audio/visual report which Coalition for a Strong Nebraska can use for educational purposes. The students interviewed a participating nonprofit about the policy issue, conducted research on the policy and topic, wrote a script, and created a 2 minute pod cast or video. UNO students created a space for the podcast to be published. Videos were approved and posted to the CFASN YouTube page.

Description : Stacie Haneline contributed to We, Too, Sing America, a docu-series created by Aural Compass Projects during their 2020-2021 season. This series explores 16 African American composers and poets who have contributed to the art song genre. These episodes are intended to give you an introduction to each artist and help give you the tools necessary to continue your own research.
