Description : Stephanie Lynam's ILUNO students work with Beth Grimmond's 3rd grade class from Washington Elementary. The first interaction consisted of the elementary students interviewing the ILUNO students to learn about their culture. The second interaction hosted a time for students to create a craft together that was donated the same day to Aksarben Senior Living. ASL also provided a tour to the students.

Description : Students will plan and promote a Hispanic Cultural Festival in partnership with the Joslyn Art Museum to increase the Museum's effort of bringing Spanish Club-speakers to the Museum. At the festival, students in SPAN 4030 will have gallery conversations in Spanish Club with visitors on specific artworks. Description : Graduate students from UNO Instructor Tami Williams’ Educational Leadership course partnered with Ms. Danielle Elsassr’s 3rd grade students from Black Elk Elementary and Royale Oaks Assisted Living Center. This project allowed the elementary students to foster intergenerational relationships between themselves and their senior buddies through their creation of poetry and art. UNO students benefited by the gained experience of supervising a community partnership and learning about the importance of engaging their future students with opportunities outside the classroom.

Description : Marlina Davidson's Fundamentals in Public Speaking teamed up with Harvey Oaks Elementary School after-school program "Loudspeakers" to develop public speaking skills.  UNO students facilitated lessons on speech development, research, delivery, and visuals. The project culminated with Harvey Oaks students presenting final speeches for their parents.

Description : Service Learning projects that partnered with an OPS school presented their semester's research at the UNO OPS Joint Research Symposium. Students from UNO, Burke High School, and Northwest High School presented poster style to an audience covering topics such as plastic bag use, food insecurity, and environmental issues.
