Description : UNO students from Instructor Rita Shaughnessy's Fundamentals of Public Speaking course and League of Women Voters will host a workshop for young women from Omaha High Schools. The workshop will introduce them to the political process and possibly encourage them to run for office one day by inviting locally elected women officals to share their experiences and allowing the young women to practice developing a mock political campaign.

Description : This Projects was canceled due to the transition to remote learning. UNO students from Professor Preston Love’s class, Black Experience In American Politics (BLST3120), will be visiting students from Mr. Josh Jablonski’s American Government Class at Benson High School to discuss about their service learning project and Black voting rights, etc. They will also be visiting Malcolm X Foundation and participate in service to your foundation while there.
