Literacy, Youth Programming, Leadership and Mentoring
Description : Dr. Brian McKevitt's Psychology in the Schools course students will attend the Westside Boys and Girls Club and will individually partner with elementary students throughout the semester. UNO students will work to improve the reading levels of the youth through 1-on-1 mentorship and tutoring very week. This project also allow students the opportunity to practice youth assessment, mentoring, and communication.
