Description : Students from the UNO Teacher Scholars Academy are partnering with fifth grade students from Crestridge Magnet School to research the impacts of redlining in Omaha. The students are working with Inclusive Communities and The Union for Contemporary Art to learn about redlining before participating in a series of Table Talks, where students will present to community members and school administrators about what they learned. Description : Students from Dr. Germaine Huber's Multicultural Education Course are partnered with Mr. Craig Wiles' 5th Grade Students from Crestridge Elementary to discuss the impact of redlining in the Omaha community. Both student groups are working alongisde Robbie Summers with Inclusive Communities to create a final poster presentation based upon 8 different components of redlining.
