Description : Due to remote learning this project was not completed. GTWO is an ongoing partnership between Dr. Ritzman’s SPED 4750 Childhood Language Disorders class and Blackburn Alternative Program High School students. Each year, the project has a different focus and community partner. This year, the project focus was with Kellom Elementary. The UNO students taught 5 sessions throughout the semester in either Ms. Colon (English and Yearbook) or Ms. George (Arts and Computer Graphics) classes. SPED 4750 students learned to work hands-on in any type of classroom (“Language is Everywhere”) and Blackburn students received learning assistance in their respective classrooms. As a community partner, Kellom Elementary students worked with UNO students to create a zine of pictures.
