Description : The medieval canal city of Delft may be best known as the birthplace of painter Johannes Vermeer or for its iconic blue and white Dutch porcelain, but it is also a thriving modern city that supports a wide variety of residents, including many international students. The Netherlands is known for being friendly to English speakers, and it has some of the highest social equality in the world. It is centrally located within Western Europe and is well-connected for students who want to travel elsewhere with ease. Students of all origins will feel welcome in this multicultural country. Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) is an excellent choice for STEM students to study in English, with our partnership based in the Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science department and the Technology, Policy, and Management department. TU Delft is in the top 100 for both the QS and THE world university rankings.
