Description : Experience the laid back lifestyle of Thessaloniki, Greece’s second city. It has a large student population, many of whom are international. Situated on the Aegean sea, Thessaloniki is a perfect combination of sea and mountains. It's a contemporary European city with a multicultural character and is affordable. Students of classics or ancient history will find interests in Greece to keep their hearts content well beyond the length of their study abroad program. The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is the largest university in Greece and provides free meals to it’s students, local and international. UNO sends and receives students from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki through the MAUI-Utrecht Consortium, which was established in 1998 with UNO as a member institution.
