Description : UNO students from Don Bowen's Media Storytelling 1 class worked with 8th graders from Alice Buffett Middle School and the Mode Shift Omahaorganization. Together the students created a video about the 67th & Pacific intersection. The video concentrated on the dangers of the intersection for pedestrians and what improvement could be made by the city to make it safer. Mode Shift Omahawill publish the video online.

Description : Students enrolled in Roma Subramanian's course JMC 3230: Principles of PR will pick a community partner with whom they'll work throughout the semester. They will meet a minimum of three times over Zoom or in-person, if the community partner and the student agree on. Students will work individually to create a PR strategy that meets the community partner's needs. The PR Strategy will be presented by the student and the video will be shared to the community partner by the end of the semester.

Description : In celebration of Earth Month, the Sustainability Expo is designed to engage students, faculty, and staff about sustainability problems and solutions, ranging from environmental to social justice issues. Over 20 sustainability-related organizations from the Omaha-Metro area will be on hand to discuss with attendees the work that they do as well as providing information about how individuals can get involved in their efforts.
