There are 4 types of Mentoring programs: Community, Juvenile Justice, School, and Youth Initiated. School-based mentors meet with youth on school premises to focus on school-related issues. The goal of this relationship is to improve youth attendance, grades, and attitudes toward school so that the youth is more likely to graduate. |
