UNO students will get insight on how they are expected to support students with early language and literacy skills. After observation, UNO students will be paired together with another individual in their cohort. Each pair will do an interactive read along with a book of their chose during a ‘visit ’to Kelsey Sheridans preschool Zoom session. The interactive read along will be a part of a large group. After the book is read, Cody Elementary preschoolers will be split into breakout rooms where one UNO student will be assigned room. In the breakout rooms, the graduate student will do a ‘hands-on’ activity based around their book. (Each breakout room will have support of classroom teacher and/or a paraprofessional). | ||
