The students worked with small groups throughout the semester to simulate a conversation around how to make Omaha a more welcoming place. The UNO and Northwest students hosted area high school students on UNO's campus to hold a sustained dialogue event where they discussed problems facing Omaha and created action items of how they can be a part of finding solutions to those problems. | ||

These interviews are recorded and turned into videos (Vidgrid) or podcasts that are played on the ADL website (adlplains.org). Students can also provide essays, artwork, or blurbs about their thoughts associated with the site. In addition, UNO students work alongside the Secondary Success Program (SSP) and Blackburn Art students to create pieces of art for a site or two in ADL’s Walk Against Hate. UNO students will meet with the SSP and Blackburn students to share about the interviews that will inspire the artwork. | |||
