The program provided multiple learning opportunities for University of Nebraska students at the Universidad Americana - UAM: Managua. Students had the opportunity to engage with local sports coaches and their student-athletes. Students interacted closely with students from UAM in an environment designed to promote skill transfer and cross-cultural learning. Students provided didactic and laboratory instruction to Nicaraguan sports coaches and their student-athletes, learn local culture and customs, and participate in weekend excursions in which they will experience Nicaragua outside of the capital city. |
