North and Nordicity (Spring 2024): 2023-24 (3229) Educational Support Museum of Danish America, Omaha Public Schools College of Arts and Sciences Service Learning None None Spring 2023-24 None 20 23 0 0 0 0 Students in Applied Piano are working on pieces throughout the semester that feature Nordic composers and music. Collaborating with the Museum of Danish America, the students will play a concert on an original Danish piano. The students will also perform their music at an evening concert for both family and friends. The graduate students use their gained knowledge about engineering design through the course to then work on designs for elderly and amputee patients, in which they present to the middle school once per week for seven weeks.
