Students support a local entrepreneur by applying classroom knowledge through the Partner Sales Plan Project, which includes a written sales plan, verbal presentation, prospect slide deck role play, and partner prospect call with reflection. Partners introduce students to the Omaha entrepreneurial ecosystem, provide a mini training module, and connect students with relevant members to support the completion of the final project. Nonprofits coordinate meaningful work for interns to benefit the student experience in different ways. Students typically intern during the fall and spring semesters and may serve the same organization for more than one academic year. Each unique student that works as a Collaborative intern with this specific community partner is identified within this project.
