To accomplish this, the intern researched marketing techniques, tips, and ideas.
NONPROFIT ORGS & MGMT (Spring 2023): 2022-23 (3058) Service Learning None None Spring 2022-23 None 15 210 0 0 0 0 This course introduces students to the nonprofit sector, including several aspects of nonprofit management. Intended for any student who wishes to understand nonprofit organizations and/or who may wish to work in the nonprofit sector. Service learning in a nonprofit agency is an important aspect of the class. The goal is to show the types of nonprofits that exist. Students will work in small groups (3-5 students in a group) with one of three community partners. The student groups are expected to conduct two, one-hour interviews. Students are only required to attend one of the two interviews. After these two interviews, each organization will complete a planned questionnaire. Traditional PA 3500.001

Students are paid through the grant-funded program. Nonprofits coordinate meaningful work for interns to benefit the student experience in different ways. Students typically intern during the fall and spring semesters and may serve the same organization for more than one academic year. Each unique student that works as a Collaborative intern with this specific community partner is identified within this project.

This service learning project has UNO students perform a dress rehearsal for the P-12 students in preparation for their main chamber event coming up in April. This gives Lewis & Clark Middle School and Nathan Hale Middle School students the opportunity to watch UNO students’ performances and further their learning in chamber music. P-16 Project. STEPs will then clean and analyze data from quantitative surveys conducted by Girls Rock, and conduct and analyze results of four focus groups in order to gain rich, unique perspectives on the short-term impact of Girls Rock.

Activities will include program observations, quantitative data analysis, parent interviews, and a final report. This includes the amendment for continued evaluation.
