The two student groups worked together all semester to visit Heron Haven, learn about water quality, draw water samples and ultimately test the water quality at Heron Haven. Heron Haven (Spring 2019): 2018-19 (1033) Environmental Stewardship Heron Haven, St. James/Seton School Service Learning Academy (SLA) Service Learning Course None Spring 2018-19 Spring 2018-19 1 12 0 0 0 0 Wildlife/Animal Welfare A collaboration among St. James/Seton 5th grade students, UNO Geology students and Heron Haven will focus primarily on creating and designing a video focused on the history and uniqueness of Heron Haven. The 5th grade students, accompanied by UNO students will tour Heron Haven, documenting the wildlife, land, and various features of Heron Haven with a particular focus on the watershed. Throughout the fall and spring semester, the students will compile the data and videos in educational videos to be shown at Heron Haven.
