For a thousand years or more, one of Europe’s greatest epics had been silently awaiting its return to the domain of the bards who first gave voice to the thrilling story of King Hrothgar, the monster Grendel, and the hero Beowulf. In this lecture, the vocalist, storyteller, and early music scholar Benjamin Bagby will walk the audience through his research and reconstruction of the poem – how he took the story of Beowulf from its written form and brought it back to its original home: a live performance of oral epic.

I also acted as Marina in this production.

Theatre faculty from around the region are invited to participate in the Faculty Acting Showcase where they are assigned a scene from a play.
Playboy of the Western World: 2019-20 (2491) Arts, Culture and Humanities Brigit Saint Brigit Theatre Company Theatre Knowledge and Resource Sharing Specialized service contract None Spring 2019-20 Spring 2019-20 0 0 0 0 0 0 Art, Theatre and Cinema For this project Charleen Willoughby worked with the Brigit Saint Brigit Theatre Company on a production of "Playboy of the Western World" for which she designed, coordinated, and built the costumes. The show ran for four weekends.
Assassins Costumer Production: 2018-19 (2494) Arts, Culture and Humanities Brigit Saint Brigit Theatre Company Theatre Knowledge and Resource Sharing Specialized service contract None Spring 2018-19 Spring 2018-19 0 0 0 0 0 0 Art, Theatre and Cinema Assassins is a musical by Stephan Sondheim that explores the assassinations and attempted assassinations of the past presidents of the United States, the perpetrators and their motivations. Charleen Willoughby had to create characters of various periods of history and make them work in a cohesive whole for the production.
Incident at Vichy Production: 2018-19 (2495) Arts, Culture and Humanities Brigit Saint Brigit Theatre Company Theatre Knowledge and Resource Sharing Specialized service contract None Spring 2018-19 Spring 2018-19 0 0 0 0 0 0 Art, Theatre and Cinema Charleen Willoughby designed costumes for the play Incident at Vichy. The play takes place in Vichy France during WWII just as the Nazis are beginning to round up Jews for transport to the concentration camps.
