Attendees will hear from panelists about the ways they can be a part of the policymaking process in Nebraska, and will then have a chance to break into small groups to talk to leaders about how to connect to organizations and get involved. The Planning Committee works with the University of Nebraska-Omaha’s Center for Public Affairs Research (CPAR), which compiles and presents data about demographics and the workforce to the Committee. The Committee uses that data to set priorities and then makes recommendations to the Legislature for legislation that aligns with those goals. | |||
