Blight and janet M. Lang, of the University of Waterloo, discuss their new book, "Dark Beyond Darkness: The Cuban Missile Crisis as History, Warning and Catalyst." The book takes readers to Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis to experience the dread of nuclear war, a fear Blight and Lang describe as relevant to today. Blight and Lang use their experience to call for nuclear abolition. Presented by the Nebraska State Council for Social Studies.
