Students from the UNO Center for Urban Sustainability participated in the event. Approximately 69 UNO and UNL students and boy scouts volunteered that day. Surrounding neighborhood residents participated also. We received much media coverage. The Newman Center garden and raised beds event had an estimated 25-30 Newman Center students participating in the planting of shrubs and perennials. |
