Description : The UNO High School Media Conference is a day long workshop event for local high school students and their advisors. As its coordinator, Melodae Morris is responsible for kicking off the event, announcing awards and giving the ending presentation.

Description : Melodae Morris participated in PRSA Nebraska's annual ethics event involving Area professionals and students from UNO and Creighton PRSSA chapters. She gave opening remarks, introduced the panel and gave students an overview of the PRSA Ethics Pledge and why it is important to be ethical.

Description : The High School Media Conference is an annual event. Approximately 350 high school students and advisers from area high schools attend. Melodae Morris is the coordinator for the event. She opened the conference, spoke at lunch, presented to Dr. Sherrie Wilson a service award and presented the student awards as a culmination of a journalism/broadcasting contest.

Description : This course is a hands-on approach to magazines as an area of specialization involving development of editorial objectives and content, planning, writing articles, design and layout for magazine production and management. Students interview alumni who work in various organizations to tell their stories.

Description : UNO students created a series of lessons for K-2 students. Subjects crossed disciplinary lines – math, reading, SEL, PE, etc. Lessons were designed to remediate the academic losses that students experience due to summer and the pandemic.
