Description : students utilize the Omaha zoo as a learning lab for observation and inquiry-based learning. UNO students provide the zoo’s education department with lesson plans to enrich the learning before, during, and after a zoo field trip. UNO students are also trained in the Project WET and Trees and Me early childhood environmental science curriculum and offer educational experiences to the zoo’s education students and Omaha area early childhood students during practicum.
