Description : This project will bring awareness regarding SNAP benefits through potentially eight podcast conversations concerning community participants, outreach logistics, SNAP state legislation, SNAP efficacy, SNAP and seniors, SNAP and citizens returning from corrections, SNAP and food pantries, and SNAP and retailers. A tour of Together; a session in which we go over what is SNAP and why is it the biggest issue in the fight on hunger; and then the what why and how about the podcasts. The students need to research the topic areas and prepare for discussions with SNAP guests that will make for a good podcast. Students engage in recorded interviews with community participants and experts on a variety of topics.
