Description : Anna Monardo was one of ten writers invited by festival host Adriana Trigiani (award-winning novelist, film director and screenwriter) to participate in a weekend-long literary festival on the campus of Saint Mary's College. On Friday evening, they met with groups of students; and on Saturday, each writer was interviewed on stage by Trigiani for an audience of 200+.

Especially in CNF workshops, but also in fiction and poetry, we encounter students' admissions of severe depression, anxiety, domestic abuse, or suicidal thoughts. How to respond compassionately while still honoring students' artistic process and privacy? Does your institution have a policy that obligates you to report concerns? Should your syllabus state that policy?"

Description : Anna Monardo was one of 122 contributors for a global virtual translation project during Summer 2020 to translate from French into English a comic blog that originally appeared in the French newspaper, LE MONDE. Written by Fiamma Luzzatti between March and June 2020, L'Avventura chronicles the lives of ordinary people living through the pandemic in Europe.
