Description: The intern created a database that detailed refugee societies and services within the Omaha Metro. The intern also created a database detailing other nonprofit organizations that provide refugee services in the Omaha Metro. Lastly, the intern assisted with the development of a refugee education program between CDHC and Heartland Family Service.

Description: UNO doctoral and masters students provided the nonprofit organization with oversight and coordination of various grants that were awarded. The work from the doctoral student resulted in a conference presentation at the 2019 National Wellness Institute Conference.
