Description : UNO Students enrolled in TED 2050: Intro to Teaching ESL classes participate in a service learning project in collaboration with the Learning Community Center of South Omaha (LCC) for six weeks. UNO students engage with LCC families weekly to explore topics of educational support, parent resources, and overall wellness to better support their children’s learning careers. UNO students travel to the LCC for the first session. UNO students will host LCC families on UNO’s Dodge Campus and Scott Campus for tours, educational sessions and a final celebration.
